Sang Mi does lots of things normal teenagers do: hang out with her friends, play video games, run track and field, and tries to solve interstellar mysteries at her home on future Mars, now renamed Gongen.
For Sang Mi, the future of 2387 is her everyday life, and jetpacks, cyborgs, robots, and swords so sharp they can cut through steel like butter are commonplace. Lady Aesculapius was born on a faraway planet where everyone has a job managing part of a chunk of the multiverse, all members of the First and Final Firmament. But after a terrible time in school, she set off on her own as soon as she graduated. Using her moon-sized ship made of blue crystal, she's free to roam. Now Aesc, as her friends call her, has made a name for herself as an adventurer, and enjoys her journeys with her girlfriend Blanche Combine, and best friend Jason Jackson.
