Who are we?
Publisher:
James Wylder is a writer, editor, and publisher from Elkhart, Indiana. He's been writing as long as he can remember, and has written or edited over a dozen books. Along with a brief stint writing for the theater, James has written for roleplaying games with Shotgun Angel Games, done proofreading and advising for Grail Quest Books, hosted a scripted live show in Elgin Illinois, and toured in over 20 cities.
Outside of his work, James loves hiking, petting dogs, gaming of all varieties, and trying and failing to cook new recipes. He was a graduate of Hanover College in 2012.
Vice President:
James Hornby is a writer and editor based in Yorkshire, England. He is the editor of The Minister of Chance and the upcoming Cwej: Seasons. His fiction includes several Doctor Who related short stories at Arcbeatle Press, as well as 'Beyond What We See' for the UNIT series at Candy Jar Books. In his spare time he sits at home with his mountain of Doctor Who books and outlandish dreams.
Lead Fiction Editors:
Jo Smiley is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. They graduated from Hanover College in 2014 with a B.A. in English, but their background in fiction goes back to 2006, when they started writing stories in high school for fun. They have always enjoyed fiction, especially science fiction and fantasy, because of its history and its capacity for social commentary. Outside of their writing career, Jo also has a particular interest in social justice, having worked on several left-wing activism campaigns over the course of the past few years. Jo doesn’t try to separate their political life from their writing, as they believe that writing is one of the best ways of communicating important thoughts to the world. In addition to this, Jo would like for people to know that there are lots of things you can do with a B.A. in English.
Michael Robertson is a Scottish writer who loves adventures stories - his own stories such as John Boss and Once Upon a Future can be read at his website, tarminuus.co.uk. His favourite things include Doctor Who, Star Wars, and any sci-fi or fantasy paperback he finds second hand that's part of a series with at least 10 installments (bonus points if there's a map on the first page).
Lead Non-Fiction Editor:
Sean Dillion is a writer and editor who has been doing both professionally since 2017. His work has been featured on Graphic Policy, PanelXPanel, and DoWntime, among other publications. He has written the upcoming book, "One Must Imagine Scott Free Happy," which focuses on the comic book series Mister Miracle and its themes of depression, war, and abuse. Outside of writing, Sean can be found wandering the streets of Connecticut, conversing with interesting people on the internet, and failing upwards in an acting career. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2017. His main body of work can be found at thekinginredandblue.blogspot.com. He can be found on twitter @deathchrist2000.
