Chris Cwej, companion of the Seventh Doctor, has now said goodbye to his first set of companions, Larles and Kwol, as he continues his quest to find Roz's eldritch clones. Now, he's got two more to worry about, and they're both intimately familiar with him. Yanna and Vicky join the Cwej roster as official companions for the latter two halves of Seasons, beginning with Autumn Fallout.

Not only that, but this chapter of Cwej: Seasons ends with an officially approved crossover with Telos Publishing's Time Hunter, nearly a decade after the series finale. How will Chris, Honoré and Emily get along? Who is Mestizer, really? One wonders...

"These stories are some of the biggest swings Cwej: The Series has ever taken. Dark, comedic, oddball, spooky, and intimate, we're starting to really see what's driving Chris through his quest for the Rozyn," says series head and lead editor Hunter O'Connell. "With Time Hunter's crossover having been planned for years, I am thrilled to announce that this isn't even close to the wildest thing in this volume."

"Bringing Yanna back into Cwej's world was a real pleasure," says head of publishing and author of Autumn Fallout's introductory story Wound, James Wylder. "I know readers have been waiting to see what happened to her since her last appearance, and I promise that there's far more to Yanna than meets the eye."

The synopsis reads: Cosmic soldier Christopher Cwej has seen brighter days.

Now his long-lost friend, Roz Forrester, has returned from the dead—but she’s been splintered, twisted: an arcane sisterhood of mocking replicas, spreading devastation across the Universe. If he’s to save it again—this time from someone he loves—he’ll need help. But his hologram girlfriend Vicky and the alien gearhead Yanna are proving a tricky team to handle—while a suave criminal, known only as The Deathless, walks an ever-darker path…

With stories by James Macaronas (Kirk Dangerous Kills the Prime Minister), Abby Denton (Gamer Mom: The Mom Who Games) and more, AUTUMN FALLOUT is the third installment in CWEJ: SEASONS, a daring new cycle of sci-fi adventures.

Cwej: Autumn Fallout is available now in ebook and paperback formats.
