Battle on the Easter Front (☆ ½ stars)
Jeremy Crass, Truth Times Director Sergei Johnson’s 15th film is at least more creative than his last ten. I genuinely didn’t believe that the movie would be so bold as to have US soldiers time travel to the time of Jesus, fighting to stop demon worshipping ninjas who want to stop the resurrection of Christ. I didn’t think that because it’s a terrible idea in a terrible film, but I’ll give it this, it’s not boring. Even so, it’s amazing that this is getting aired on TV, even in a late-night slot, instead of premiering in the back aisle of your local video store. This does give the movie one advantage though—you can watch it for free if you tune in, cause I sure as heck wouldn’t rent it. Comments are closed.
