Infiltrating the store was getting easier. After getting chased away by the employee yesterday, Katie was now feeling like she was in her element. She was clearly looking like a normal shopper as she wandered the store. Children were even pointing her out to their parents, and she would wave back. She went up to the electronics section and watched TV while people pushed their carts around her, and looped three times to get a sample biscuit from the bakery.
That was until it all went wrong. She should have suspected that the SIGNET crew would catch onto her, no matter how sneaky she was. And so as she opened the lids of the shampoo bottles to smell them one by one, who was she greeted by but Jae-Sun Park of SIGNET.
“Hello Miss, you’ve been browsing for a long time now?”
She looked at his security uniform. “...Is that a crime?”
“No, but you’re getting in the way of the other customers who are here to actually buy things.”
She recapped the shampoo and waved her hands. “No no, I’m a customer! I am here to buy things.”
He tilted his head. “So, what are you here to buy?”
Her mind went at a hundred miles per hour. “Uhhh… well I’m browsing? So, I don’t know yet?”
He nodded. “Do you have any money? Like in case you drop one of those shampoo bottles?”
She thought about this. “Okay, so listen, I have a counter argument.”
He readied for her reply, and in return she bolted in the other direction. She could hear him chase after her as she ran out of the store, and lost him as she got towards the riverbank.
When she knew she was clear, she put her hands on her knees and caught her breath. 
They might be onto her, but she wasn’t spent yet.
